A [Descriptor] is a descriptive word or prase preceding an item entry, contained within the cornered brackets "[" and "]" to help you identify any extra information pertaining to the item. An alphabetical list of current [Descriptor]s is found below.
There is no [Decriptor] before the item(s) I am looking at?
The vast majority of entries at the Phoenix Forge have no [Descriptor]. These items are a part of what is known as a the "Phoenix Forge Custom Order System" of which the Phoenix Forge is well-known for delivering to its customers. To read how the Phoenix Forge Custom Order System works, there is a [Descriptor] heading for it below under the heading of [Custom Order].
[Advance Order]
[Advance Order] items can be found at the top of the category for which they belong to. If you know of an item that hasn't been released yet, look for it in the appropriate category heading. [Advance Order] items are released on a specific day (or month) that will be listed in the item’s [Descriptor]. You can order them before the release date to reserve your items, and then the Forge will order them and send them to you by that release date. If your order contains multiple release dates, you will receive your order by the date of the last release to avoid multiple postage charges. If an [Advance Order] date becomes to close to the relase date to garantee delivery by that date, its [Descriptor] may change to [Custom Order]. Once the release date has arrived, the [Descriptor] will be removed and the item will often become part of the standard [Custom Order] stystem, and any in-stock items will move to the Shelf Stock section and have [Stock] attached at the front to show they are physically in stock.
[Bargain Box]
[Bargain Box] items have been reduced in price by a large amount and placed in a special box. All [Bargain Box] items are in stock, and simply become a part of your normal order.
[Custom Order]
This is the standard system for ordering from the Phoenix Forge, as it offers the broadest range to you. [Custom Order] items are for you to pick and choose (in most cases) which items you want from the entire range of a game system or product range. [Custom Order] items are not in physical stock – once the order is complete and payed for, the Phoenix Forge will obtain your order from the supplier, whether from Australia or internationally, and send it on to you when it arrives (if you want to know how long an item may take to get from the supplier, just contact info@phoenixforge.com.au). Using this method, you may order as many of each item as you want. If you have [Custom Order] items in your order, the entire order will be posted to you once all parts of it are together for packaging. This extra time may add as little as 3 working days to the overall postage time, but always allow for longer (perhaps a week or more), and longer if you know that the items must come from overseas. A [Custom Order] item with the [Custom Order] is most likely an Advance order that has become very close to the release date (see [Advance Order] above).
Note: If you do not see a Games Workshop item you are after, please check the [Direct Order] section, as it may be on a different Games Workshop order list. If you still can’t find what you are looking for, please email info@phoenixforge.com.au to let us know and then we will see if the item is obtainable for you.
[Direct Order]
[Direct Order] items are a special Games Wrkshop only category based on a different ordering list and system to the standard range of Games Workshop products. [Direct Order] includes rare items, and also Games Workshop Specialist Games. [Direct Order] items are not in physical stock, unless they have the [Stock] descriptor before the name of the Direct Order item (example: [Stock] [Direct Order] Product Name). The [Direct Order] section does not show every available [Direct Order] item, as there is no true list and there are over 5000 products. There may be additional waiting time for a [Direct Order], as the items must arrive from the Games Workshop warehouse. This extra time may add as little as 3 working days to the overall postage time, but is usually longer as the Phoenix Forge must want a minimum amount of [Direct Order] items before they can be obtained from the Games Workshop warehouse (perhaps a week or more).
Note: If you do not see a [Direct Order] item you are after, please email info@phoenixforge.com.au to let us know and we will add it as a new entry to the [Direct Order] list for you. This is the only way the [Direct Order] section increases.
[Preorder]
If you see the [Preorder] description attached to a product’s title, this means that the item is out of stock, but is on one of the next stock orders to arrive at the Phoenix Forge. You can order this item, thus reserving the next one to arrive for yourself. You can even order multiple amounts of the item, and your order will simply be treated like a [Custom Order].
